Like everything we love in life, Moxie was established from a whim, inspired by passion, and keeps growing from the unexpected and capricious twists that life gives. Tracing back to our roots, Moxie started as a sole-proprietorship shop, managed by Lacy, during the time her interests were drawn solely in styles and trends. She then discovered her love for creating headbands and bohemian-inspired kimonos.

At this time, Lacy had been working for many years in the medical field as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist and was beginning to wonder what she would do after retirement. Based on her foresight, she perceived the need to retire young, and was never ready for the rocking chair lifestyles, but ready to conquer and live more adventures. This led to the establishment of Moxie, which had been her dream for many years. Yes, I know its a Leap of Faith to go from the Medical Field to Women's Clothing, but she was ready for a change and loved new challenges. The unique idea of venturing into a new world of online shopping was really exhilarating and terrifying.

Lacy chose the name Moxie, because she’s got Moxie. She’s an eclectic woman of the arts filled with guts, spunk, and the spirit such a home of creativity, styles, and trends require. Lacy believes that the amazing thing about sharing one’s creations with others is the connection with fellow kindred spirits it brings. This is reflected through the things that bring warmth and smiles from others who are excited and satisfied to have found a unique shop that gets them and everything they want.

Since the advent of Moxie and the offering of a full collection of bohemian inspired clothing and accessories, Lacy constantly scours for newer ideas for her amazing creations and keeps searching worldwide for new and exciting products that simply must be shared with others. An innovative woman who believes in originality and uniqueness.

Moreover, Lacy believes that our greatest inspiration is paying attention to what others love, which makes us grow. Moxie’s clothing collections are skillfully curated from styles all over the world, designed to complement the stylish and elegant accessories we offer. For example, imagine the pretty laces, the durability of leather, warm knits, and those lovely things that sparkle – all or more with a touch of the Bohemian spirit. Also, imagine yourself in the swish of patterns and textures you’d expect may clash, but apparently mesh perfectly.

At Moxie, our level of style is equivalent to the freedom of a river cutting its way through the earth; ever-changing and reshaping.  Even at the instance of touching any trend, she introduces it with a freshness and newness. Lacy’s commitment is to create styles for the woman who wants it hers, and for the woman who wants to describe her awesome looks in fashion statements without saying a word.
