Bio of Model - Kathryn Clark

Raised in Salado, Texas, Kathryn Clark belongs to an agency and has some experience in modelling, but hopes to achieve more in the coming years. She is also currently mentoring new aspiring models with Modelemi.

Getting her start through a friend who had been working on a modelling project, Clark’s career continued from that point forward. Since then she has taken courses in runway modelling as well as participated in a camp through the Page Parkes Model Agency, along with doing several test shoots and portfolio compilations. Clark feels that what she is best equipped with in the fashion industry is her strong work ethic, confidence and feeling of empowerment while modelling. She demonstrates this through her availability to travel for her work and willingness to devote every day until perfection is achieved. She finds her limitations in the clothes and poses that she finds herself modelling, but will thrive in a creative atmosphere of natural light.

Outside of her modelling career she is also a bartender and a committed college student. Her second passion is acting, which she hopes to pursue concurrently with her modelling career. Kathryn Clark finds genuine happiness in her career, and does not strive for fame, but to live comfortably in pursuit of the career that she loves.

INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

Please tell me about yourself.
My name is Kathryn Clark and I am 23 years old. I have 4 older brothers, 2 older sisters, making me the baby. I grew up in Salado, Texas where I was active in sports and maintained good grades. I have been signed with an agency and I learned a lot through them. I work full time but am trying to break into the industry full time. I recently obtained an associate’s degree from Temple College and have decided to further that degree at a later time. My father, John Henry Clark III, is one of my best friends and biggest fans, he is a teacher and a published author. My passion is modeling and acting and I plan on pursuing that with all of my heart.

Modeling is something I have always wanted to do. Through some chance encounters and a lot of consideration I have decided to do just that, model.

MODEL’S EXPECTATIONS
• How would you react if your photographer told you to pose a certain way, and you absolutely did not want to or you were uncomfortable with the pose? How would you handle the situation?
-I think it would depend on the circumstances.
