Bio of Model - Anastasia Sunshine

ABOUT ME: Model Anastasia Sunshine (also modelling under the name Sunshine Goddess) has set the Texas modelling world on fire since she moved to Fort Worth in mid 2016.  At only 18, she is becoming one of Texas's most favorite models. With her bleach blonde hair, dark blue eyes and porcelain skin, it's easy to see why many have called her the 'modern Marilyn'.

One thing that sets Anastasia apart from the crowd is her ability to understand movement in photos. She always works to achieve outstanding pictures. She even attended classes at Barbizon which gave her the experience and confidence to own the runway and high fashion-esq shoots. She joined the Modelemi family in 2016.

A free spirit and unique individual, Anastasia has been raised from the beaches of California to the East coast of Rhode Island, and many states between.  Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, she's had more experiences than most people twice her age. Growing up she was in beauty pageants, cheerleading, the leader of anti bullying groups, and played trumpet for 7 years. Anastasia is the oldest of five children in her family.  Outside of modelling her hobbies include shopping, working out, painting, writing poetry, and making YouTube videos.

PERSONAL
• Why do you want to work as a model?

- The art of modelling is something I understand well. In my mind, there is no challenge in modelling I couldn't take.
• How do you define success as a model?

-The more well known you are, in my opinion, is the more successful you are.  Some models have the "It" factor, most don't. Obtaining the "It" factor designers and consumers look for is very important in being successful.
• State your availability: would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours? How may someone contact you for possible modeling job?

-I would be open to travel. I'm usually available weekends, and anyone could contact me on my modelling page.
• Who is your role model in this industry? Why?

-My role models have always been Tyra Banks, Brigette Bardott and of course Marilyn Monroe, because all three of the women represent strength, independence, class, and beauty, and breaking the status quo which  are important characteristics to have in the modelling world.
• What else are you passionate about outside of modelling?

-I am passionate about painting, music, and spreading love. I am also very passionate on the topics of feminism and spirituality.

EDUCATION
• Tell me about your education: What is your level of education? Have you attended fashion modeling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?

-I have attended some classes at Barbizon that dealt with runway training, photo movement and acting. I'd like to think all my years of watching America's Next Top Model has helped too.
• Are you currently working another job besides modeling? If so, what? Why did you choose to pursue a career as a model?

-I work full time at Subway currently.  Modelling has always been my #1 in life though. It's something I consider myself good at, and something I love doing. If it paid well, it would be my full time job instead.

MODEL’S EXPECTATIONS
• How would you react if your photographer told you to pose a certain way, and you absolutely did not want to or you were uncomfortable with the pose? How would you handle the situation?

-I've been in this type of situation before when modelling, and I straight up told the photographer that "I don't pose like that sir, I'm a lady." It's important to hold your ground and stay true to your values. You're not just a clothes hanger or a piece of ***, you're a woman who deserves the upmost respect.
• Do you have any limitations, e.g. nudes? Would you model any kind of clothing at all?

-This question is circumstantial. All I can say is that it would depend on a lot of things, for who, for what, the pay, why it would be beneficial to me. As to the clothing, that would also depend. I'm open to fashion and high fashion modelling, prom dresses, wedding dresses, swimsuit, alternative, sport, glamour, lingerie, I'm not sure if there are any others than that.
• Describe the ideal work environment for you.

-My ideal work environment is a place that I feel safe and comfortable in. I do often prefer to shoot on site shoots in public places, especially if I don't know the photographer.

CURRENT MODELING CAREER
• Tell me about your current modeling work.

-I've walked two fashion shows so far- one for a Pakistani bridal show, and the second for celebrity designer Rocky Gathercole. Other than that I've been in at least two Texas magazines (that I know of); Soleil Teen magazine, and Teen Magazine. Before modelling for Moxie the only clothes I've modelled have been for designer Lajuana Centrell Williams.
• Where and when did you get your start modelling?

-I started about a year ago modelling for my high school's photography club, but as a kid my sisters and I always would have our own photoshoots with Halloween costumes and curtains. I'd say all those days of playing dress up has helped me in actual modelling.
• What is your greatest strength? What is your greatest weakness? What are you doing to improve it?

-My greatest strength would be my facial features. My greatest weakness is that I run out of ideas for poses, or revert back to the same few. I'm working to change it up by looking at magazines with models or pictures on the internet before shoots to come up with new poses.
• What are your greatest accomplishments so far? Describe your three greatest accomplishments to date.

-My three greatest accomplishments in modelling have to be being officially published, moving to Texas to model, and walking in a Rocky Gathercole show.
• What is it in modelling that you're most passionate about?

-Being art. No matter what I model, clothes or concept, I love being art. I don't want to be a cookie cutter model, I want to stand out. You never just model clothes, your soul should stand out too.

MODELING GOALS
• What are your goals as a model? What do you hope to accomplish in your modelling career (awards, status, notoriety, influence on society, etc.)?

-I really want to belong to a big named agency in California or New York. My absolute dream would be to model for Victoria's Secret.
• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

-I'd like to model overseas in France and Japan. I can only hope that I'll make it big in 5 year's time. Maybe I'll be an actress by then, who knows.
• What is your long-range objective?

-I'll probably stop modelling by 30-35. I could keep modelling until I'm 80, we'll see.

CONTACT INFO
• How may someone contact you? Do you have a separate dedicated to modeling email, Facebook page, twitter or Instagram account? If so, please provide.

-My modelling page on Facebook is called Sunshine Goddess. My family made a fan page of me called Anastasia Sunshine. I do post a lot of modelling on my personal Instagram, sunshinegoddess21.
